Women and Youth Committee
It is the committee responsible for monitoring the challenges, problems, difficulties and obstacles facing Bahraini lawyers during their practice of the legal profession. The committee works to find appropriate solutions that are appropriate and compatible with its human nature and guarantee its rights guaranteed by the Constitution and the law, in order to enable it to perform its prominent and influential role in Bahraini and international society in general.
Committee Objectives
Enabling female lawyers to participate in the committees of the Supreme Council for Women and to represent the association in them
Organizing seminars, meetings, and programs, And projects
Facilitating her access to her rights guaranteed to her by the Constitution and all international charters and agreements and ways to address them to empower women legally in all fields through their participation
Organizing trips outside the country to visit the Arab Lawyers Union, the Syndicate, Arab Bar Associations, and women’s committees, and to meet with Arab women lawyers to open the door to cooperation with them regarding women’s, family, and children’s affairs.
Motivating Bahraini lawyers to participate in the association and integrate them into one of the working committees.
Strengthening interconnection, cooperation, and joint work between Bahraini lawyers, women’s associations, and civil society organizations through a joint protocol to exchange experiences.
Organizing joint discussion panels between Bahraini lawyers and women’s associations and civil society organizations on women’s issues
Enabling Bahraini female lawyers to attend specialized programmes, seminars and workshops related to the legal profession and development programs that hone their personality and legal expertise.
Reviving women’s social events and providing awareness lectures to explain women’s rights in the local and international community
